I enjoyed reading this new story. It is very much in line with the main story line. I am looking forward to reading more.
My only complaint is that it was too short.
Fantastic author, well-written characters, outstanding setting (I am so stealing this for my next D&D Campaign.)

I'm not going to go into the many details of the story in depth; that's readily available if you use the "About this Book" feature on you kindle or iPad.
I really enjoyed this book; I mean really enjoyed it.
I read all the "Tales From New Earth" books, and it was so nice to get together with familiar friends.
Liliana, our Paladin in the tale had an amazing story to be told here that was not covered in the other books; this was her backstory.
This explains how she came to be a paladin, and what happened to her after the fall of our old earth to the dragons.
This was an excellent stand alone book. You don't need to have read the other books to keep up.
I think if you do read this you will go devour the other books though.
For those of us that have read them there's not a lot of backtracking that will bore you; it's done just right.
Hopefully you won't be like me and cray the last 20 pages. -). No, that's not a spoiler because I didn't say why I cried.
The editing was pretty good, often in the kindle prime you find books that don't even seem to have an editor, which drives me crazy.
It was impossible for me to put down, it's that good of a story.

I loved the New Earth series with Simon. Frankly this paladin arc is verbose and disappointing. I read half of it and just can't force myself to read anymore. I'm done with this series
I loved all the books. I like that you wrote the Paladin. I can't wait for more with Simon, dire wolf, stallion and elementals. The only thing I found different is that at the end of Book 8 there were Red Dragons still. The link was severed from the Prime, how did they end.
